At DUSA, we understand that the situation currently unfolding in Ukraine will be distressing for our students, staff and alumni. Our thoughts are with everyone affected at this difficult time.
As a global student association, our community is deeply concerned and sends the Ukrainian people our support and hopes for a peaceful resolution even as the situation deteriorates.
The University is contacting students in our community who are directly impacted by recent events to offer support for their wellbeing and to alleviate the undoubted pressures on them at this time. Students can also contact our Advice and Support teamĀ for support with mental health and wellbeing, either on their own behalf or if they are worried about another student – https://www.dusa.co.uk/advice
The Home Office has confirmed that Ukrainians who are on study visas in the UK will have their visas temporarily extended or be able to switch onto different visa routes.

We understand how difficult this situation will be for all staff and students in our community. We know none of you support this conflict and will do everything we can to support those who are or will be affected.
DUSA represents a diverse, global student community with many different nationalities and we ask people to continue to respect and support each other at this time.
