DUSA Exec statement on Supreme Court ruling and support for trans students
We are disappointed by the Supreme Court’s ruling that “the terms woman and sex in the Equality Act 2010 refer to a biological woman and biological sex.”
The advice service that we at DUSA (Dundee University Students’ Association) provide is impartial, free and confidential advice on a range of issues. The Advice and Support team at DUSA specifically provides advice on academic issues, housing, general well-being and they can advise and support on a lot more issues. Also, offer guidance with both on and off campus for financial, health and employment advice.
DUSA provides confidential and impartial service to the students, which means that whatever you discuss with the support team will not be shared with anyone outside the Advice team without your permission, including the University. We know how tough it is to manage day-to-day living along with your academics, managing time and and your overall quality of life. Hence we thrive to offer the best advice and help you by directing you towards the right resources.
